United Stables adopts Chainlink as infrastructure for $1 billion stablecoin

United Stables has adopted Chainlink infrastructure to enhance its $1 billion U stablecoin's utility and strengthen LINK's market position in DeFi.

LINK is trading near $8.60, down roughly 1.5% in the past 24 hours, following United Stables’ confirmation of full-stack adoption of Chainlink infrastructure, including Data Feeds and Proof of Reserve, along with a forthcoming integration of the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP). This announcement coincides with the U stablecoin surpassing $1 billion in circulating supply.

The integration positions Chainlink as a critical settlement layer for a stablecoin that is already recording more than $2.5 billion in daily trading volume. Traders are closely monitoring whether this expansion in utility can help LINK breach its current resistance levels.

United Stables stated that the integration was prompted by a security review identifying risks such as fragmented liquidity, unverified pricing, and bridge vulnerabilities in legacy oracle infrastructure. Chainlink Data Feeds now offer decentralized pricing across more than 20 lending protocols linked to U. Additionally, Proof of Reserve provides on-chain cryptographic confirmation of the stablecoin’s collateral, which consists of cash, USDC, USDT, and USD1 held in segregated accounts.

United Stables CEO Athena emphasized that the integration enables institutional partners and DeFi protocols to access verified pricing data and independently confirm U’s collateral at all times. The CCIP support for cross-chain transfers is planned but currently not live.

LINK has fluctuated between $8.29 and $8.76 over the past 24 hours, according to data from the Binance Square community. The 4-hour trend appears bullish, while the 1-hour trend is neutral, indicating that momentum remains but is not accelerating. Trading volume supporting this movement exceeded $178 million over the 24-hour period, consistent with directional buying rather than market noise.

Support levels for LINK are defined between $8.10 and $8.25, a range that buyers have frequently defended.
