Coinbase unveiled two AI-powered finance tools at its System Update event on June 16, 2026.
Coinbase Advisor, available to U.S. Coinbase One subscribers, provides 24/7 investment guidance, tax strategies, and trade ideas based on a user’s full account history. The service is registered with the SEC, CFTC, and NFA, and requires user approval before executing any actions.
In addition, Coinbase launched Coinbase for Agents, which allows third-party AI systems to trade and make payments within user-defined limits. This initiative is part of the company’s broader strategy to expand AI-driven financial automation through its “agentic finance” platform.
