This policy explains how CoinExtra produces, reviews, and corrects its content. It applies to every article on coinextra.net.
Editorial independence
CoinExtra’s newsroom operates independently of its business and advertising functions. Sponsored content is clearly labeled and produced separately from editorial coverage. We do not accept payment in exchange for favorable coverage. We do not accept gifts or crypto tokens in exchange for coverage decisions.
Sources and attribution
We prefer primary sources: official announcements from exchanges, regulators, project teams, on-chain data, and on-the-record interviews. Where we cite reporting from other publications, we attribute clearly with a link to the original source. Anonymous sources are used only when their information is independently verifiable.
Accuracy and corrections
We aim for accuracy in every article. When we make a factual error, we correct it visibly and note the change at the bottom of the article. Substantive updates (new data, new statements from a named source) are also noted with an update timestamp.
If you spot an error, please tell us via the Contact form.
AI and editorial judgment
AI tools may assist with research, transcription, summarization, or visual production. AI does not replace human reporting or editorial judgment, and the editorial team is responsible for every published article. AI-generated content that materially contributes to an article is disclosed within the piece.
Sponsored content and affiliate links
Sponsored articles are clearly labeled as such at the top of the page and are not produced by the editorial team. Affiliate links, where used, do not influence editorial coverage and are disclosed in the relevant article.
Editorial leadership
Final editorial responsibility rests with CoinExtra’s editorial lead. The lead has the authority to revise, delay, or reject content that does not meet our standards.
