WebX 2026 set to return to Tokyo in July, focusing on Web3 innovation

WebX 2026 will return to Tokyo on July 13–14, 2026, focusing on Japan's evolving Web3 landscape and fostering innovation in the digital economy.

WebX 2026 will return to Tokyo on July 13–14, 2026, at The Prince Park Tower Tokyo, gathering global decision-makers to discuss advancements in digital and financial innovation. Last year, WebX attracted over 14,000 attendees and featured more than 170 side events across the city.

Organized by CoinPost, WebX has become a prominent venue for industry leaders, investors, and policymakers to foster collaboration within the digital asset and technology sectors. The upcoming event will focus on the theme “Connecting the Nodes Beyond the Screen” and will include keynote sessions, panel discussions, exhibitions, and curated networking opportunities.

The 2026 conference coincides with significant regulatory changes in Japan, including the classification of crypto assets as financial instruments, which are expected to enhance investor confidence and improve standards for fairness, transparency, and consumer protection. Ryo Sakai, CEO of WebX, stated, “Japan has taken deliberate steps in recent years to advance its digital transformation strategy. We are now entering a period where regulatory clarity is expected to unlock greater institutional participation and expand access to new sources of growth capital.”

With a clearer regulatory framework, WebX 2026 aims to facilitate discussions on scaling infrastructure, improving governance, and promoting sustainable market growth. Sakai added, “As the ecosystem matures, the conversation is shifting from early experimentation toward long-term infrastructure and market stability, and these themes will be central to the 2026 program.”

The event will host a diverse group of executives, entrepreneurs, investors, and technology leaders from Japan and abroad. Confirmed speakers include Hayden Adams, Founder and CEO of Uniswap Labs; Katherine Dowling, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Bitwise Asset Management; Alex Svanevik, CEO of Nansen; and Yat Siu, Co-founder and Chairman of Animoca Brands, among others.

WebX 2026 will be supported by several global partners, including Title Sponsors such as Bitbank, bitFlyer, BitLending, eole Inc., SBI Holdings, Simplex, and UPCX. Their involvement underscores WebX’s role in facilitating partnerships between emerging innovators and established institutions.

Additional speakers and program details will be announced in the coming months. For more information, visit the official WebX 2026 website.
